About Forró

Forró is a music genre and a dance style which is especially popular in the North of Brasil, it is even popular than Salsa. The aim of Forró İstanbul is to introduce forró and share the passion with others and create a community in Istanbul.

We meet for forró classes and a free dance every week. The classes are open to everyone from all levels. It is a couple dance but you don’t need to come with your partner. There is no dress code, just bring your selves and enjoy the spirit of forró.
